At Prospero Group, we recognise that maintaining stability within foster placements can be incredibly challenging—particularly when young people are displaying high levels of emotional distress or behavioural difficulties. Without timely intervention, these challenges can lead to disruption, and in some cases, complete placement breakdown.

To help prevent this, we work in close partnership with local authorities and private fostering agencies to provide high-quality, experienced support workers who can be deployed rapidly to offer additional support where it's needed most.

Our support services include:

• Hands-on practical assistance to foster carers and families, helping to manage the daily routines and demands of caring for children and young people
• Behavioural and emotional support to help young people regulate emotions, manage anxiety, and develop more positive coping mechanisms.
• Routine support, including morning and evening transitions, which can be key stress points within a household—our staff help establish calm, consistent routines.
• 1:1 targeted work, offering focused attention to young people who may be struggling to engage or at risk of placement breakdown.

Court-Appointed Supervision & Family Safeguarding

Specialist Support for Families Under Court Orders or Supervision

At Prospero Group, family supervision and community safeguarding services have become an integral part of our daily work with local authorities and the court system.

We support families subject to court-ordered supervision—working in partnership with judges, barristers, and local authority professionals to provide an added layer of protection for young people living in high-risk or monitored environments.

Our services include:

• Court-appointed family supervision, including documented reporting for use in court proceedings

• 24/7 staffing support, with the ability to mobilise a team within 60 minutes to most UK locations

• Bedside supervision for newborns, particularly where removal proceedings are being considered

Education Support for Young People Outside of Mainstream School

Tailored Education & Intervention Packages

Some young people face significant barriers to attending mainstream education, whether due to social, emotional, behavioural, or complex needs. At Prospero Group, our Children’s Education Services team delivers bespoke education solutions for those currently out of school or unable to access traditional settings.

We work in partnership with local authorities and schools to re-engage learners, reduce exclusions, and provide high-impact, personalised interventions. Each programme is designed around the individual needs of the young person, with a focus on stability, progress, and well-being.
